Wunschtürme (wish towers) aim into the distance. They line up in elongated triangles placed on top of each other and borrow from the pictorial language of elsewhere. We anchor dreamed desires in the here and now with them. This pattern also hovers between clear geometry and folk ornament and was first created by Josef Hoffmann in 1909.
