Salone del Mobile 2021 „supersalone“ – Concept and Visualisation

Backhausen is proud to have been selected as a participant in this year's Salone del Mobile “supersalone”.

This new format of the Salone del Mobile is curated by Stefano Boeri with the intention of showcasing projects and products in an innovative environment based on closeness, reflection and exchange.

As such, all of the display materials and components from the “supersalone” were designed by the curators in such a way that they can be dismantled and reused, thereby fostering circularity and a sustainable practice.

The focus of the Backhausen stand design is to highlight the red thread that has withstood the test of time, encapsulating the company’s values by fostering traditional craftsmanship but simultaneously expanding into new areas within the textile market.

In addition to presenting our latest upholstery and curtain fabric collections, Backhausen is therefore immensely proud to showcase a first glimpse of our own fashion and home textiles. Plaids, shoes or coats - made from the finest Backhausen fabrics - are just waiting to enrich the classic world of textiles.
