Kolo and the Koi

By the way, the great artist “tamed” the koi himself. Or rather, he dedicated one of his designs to the fish and this is preserved in the Backhauen Archive, in a similar way to other original designs by well-known artists of the Vienna Modern. The movements of the beautiful koi carp have been captured in flowing fabric and incorporated into the Backhausen Collection Japonaise as a tribute to Japanese style and culture.
