Magnificent morning glories, pretty bluebells, and decorative spindle flowers unite into an elegant bouquet of colour in the designs of DAGOBERT PECHE, one of the best-known artists of the Wiener Werkstätte. Backhausen has woven the motifs of this master of ornamentation into the design “Der Sommer”, with its opulent colours on shimmering silk.
“Viola” – a further design by Dagobert Peche – spurs a longing for exotic dreams with its pomegranates, pineapples and lotus flowers united in luxury fabrics forged through the art of weaving. The filigree, fantasy flowers flourish in a modern palette of colours to create contemporary textile art.
The patterns “Eduard”, “Claude” and “Vincent” are given a renaissance as high-quality upholstery materials in a coordinated set of colours to round off the “Lyon” collection.
